So many reasons, but we'll share the ones that benefit you the most.

Cloth pads have a few well-known annoyances: bulk, slow drying, shifting, leaky edges, and stains that are quite difficult to get out. Our pads and liners are built around those problems.

Unbeatably thin. Not bulky. No more diaper feeling. Low-profile snaps on the pad, no snaps at all on the liner.

Edges that don't leak. Our pads and liners have true seamless edges sealed with heat fusion bonding rather than sewn or glued, so there are no stitch holes for fluid to travel through, the edge is soft against your skin, durable, lasts longer, and the seal doesn't wear off in the wash.

Leakproof without the clamminess. Not all PUL is breathable, and the breathable kind costs more. Ours is a microporous PUL made with non-PFAS based material: it blocks liquid while letting water vapour escape, so it isn't sealing heat against your skin.

It stays put. The Wing's textured backing grips your underwear across the whole surface. The Stay Liner uses a patented grip fabric that attaches to The Hold Panty's gusset securely: fabric on fabric, no snaps, no adhesive, no silicone dots.

Dry and fresh. The skin-facing layer on both is a Copper ION fabric, where the weave does the moisture-wicking and the copper handles odour. The Wing adds SILVADUR silver ion technology in its absorbent core for antimicrobial odour control (note: the Stay Liner has the Copper ION top layer but no absorbent core and no SILVADUR layer).

Easy to wash, fast to dry. Our Stay Liner air dries in as little as 2 to 4 hours. That's also why we use light colours instead of the usual black or dark colours (textile dyes are another topic, which we'll talk about in a blog post some day): you can see they're clean rather than taking a dark pad's word for it.

Keep using them! Reusing what you already own is the whole point, unless yours aren't working for you and you're still looking.

That said, if ours make your period a little easier to deal with, why not? The easier reusables are to live with, the more likely any of us are to stick with them longer.

Different usage and purposes!

The Stay Liner is our reusable panty liner. It's for the light stuff: spotting, everyday discharge, sweat, light bladder leaks, and the days before and after your period. Ultra-thin, no absorbent core, so it's not built for flow. It attaches to The Hold Panty with the snap-free grip system.

The Wing is our reusable menstrual pad (works with most underwear), for when you're actually bleeding. It has an absorbent core with SILVADUR™ silver ion technology for odour control, a true breathable leakproof backing, and a lightly textured backing that creates just enough friction against your underwear to keep it from shifting.

Short version: Stay Liner for light days, The Wing for flow days. It's best to use both across a cycle.

In case you didn't know:

It holds 25 to 30 ml of fluid in testing, which lines up with how most pads out there advertise their capacity. The catch is that those numbers are measured with water, and period fluid is thicker, so real-world capacity is lower across the board. For The Wing, that's around 15 to 20 ml of period blood before you'll want a fresh one, roughly what 2 to 3 regular tampons hold. On a moderate day, a comfortable stretch between changes.

A few things that you might like:

The idea is simple. The Hold Panty isn't period underwear and doesn't absorb anything itself. It's a regular, comfy panty with a specially built gusset. The Stay Liner sits on that gusset and holds through a patented fabric-on-fabric grip, no snaps, no adhesive, no silicone. When it's time to wash, you peel the liner off and the panty stays clean underneath. It's almost like having swappable gussets, but better and easier!

The Stay Liner's base is a patented grip fabric, and The Hold Panty's gusset is constructed to receive it. Place the liner into place and the two fabrics interlock, fabric holding fabric, no snaps, no adhesive, no silicone. It stays put through movement all day, and when it's time to wash, you simply peel it away. Nothing clicks, nothing sticks, nothing leaves residue on the panty. It's really that easy!

For the best performance and security, yes. The Stay Liner's grip fabric is designed to attach to The Hold Panty's specially constructed gusset, and that pairing is what makes the whole system work.

Some of our testers have used Stay Liners with their own regular underwear and found it held fine for them, so it's not that it can't work elsewhere. But it won't hold the same way, and we'd rather tell you that upfront than have you find out mid-day. If you do try it with your own underwear, avoid silky, slippery fabrics like the nylon in most seamless styles.

Yes. The Hold Panty is a regular panty and wears like one. It's built to pair with The Stay Liner, but nothing about it requires a liner to be comfortable on its own. Plenty of people wear it plain outside their liner days.

Totally fair, and that's exactly what one of our testers, W. Chen, thought too. She was impressed with our Stay Liner but figured she wouldn't use it much, since liners weren't part of her routine.

Then our founder, Ru, told her how she used them for her camping trips, and they worked wonders.

The Stay Liner attaches to The Hold Panty and swaps out in seconds, almost like a swappable gusset. Instead of packing a week of underwear, Ru brings a couple of Hold Panties and a handful of liners and just changes the liner. A liner is also easier to hand wash in a sink than a full panty, easier to dry discreetly, and quick to dry, so nothing goes back in the bag damp the next morning.

The catch? You're wearing the same panty more than one day. The liner catches everything, so the panty stays clean, but if that's still an "ew, no" for you, we get it. We're just here to lay out the options so you can pick what works.

The Wing's snaps are deliberately low-profile and flat, tucked on the wings under the gusset, so there's not much digging in when you sit, cycle, or move around. 

And the Stay Liner has no snaps at all, its grip is fabric on fabric, so there's nothing there to feel.

Don’t think snaps matter that much? Wait until you have to wear one cycling. Our founder, Ru, never gave snap thickness a second thought until she tried cycling in an old reusable pad from another brand, and boy, she couldn't sit on the bike at all, the snaps landed exactly where a bike seat pressed.

Workouts, yes. The Wing's backing has a lightly textured weave that creates gentle friction against your underwear, so it resists the shifting and bunching that can happen during movement. Snug-fitting underwear helps everything stay where you put it. It's also light, soft, and flexible, so it moves with you rather than against you, and thin enough to stay discreet even under leggings

Swimming, no. It's not designed for swimming.

Short answer: it can work, but it depends because it's built for daytime.

The Wing holds around 25 to 30 ml of fluid (15 to 20 ml of period fluid), which is comfortable for a moderate day but may not go the distance through a full night, especially on heavier days.

For some people on lighter nights it should be plenty. For many, it's likely not enough on its own.

If you want to try it overnight:

• Go in with realistic expectations on lighter nights, and pair it with a cup or period underwear.
• Help it stay put with snug-fitting underwear.

Yes, absolutely, this is one of the most popular ways people use a liner. Our ultra-thin, snap-free Stay Liner is ideal as backup leak protection for a cup, disc, or tampon because it adds almost no bulk and catches anything that slips past.

For light bladder leaks, yes. The Wing's absorbent core and leakproof backing handle light leaks the same way they handle moderate menstrual flow, and plenty of people use reusable pads for exactly this.

Postpartum needs more honesty. Bleeding in the first days and weeks after birth is typically heavier than a period, and The Wing is built for moderate flow, so it's better suited to the later, lighter stage of postpartum bleeding than the early days. Follow your care provider's guidance on postpartum bleeding, especially in those first weeks, and come to reusables when your flow settles into territory a moderate pad can honestly cover.

The Wing and the Stay Liner are some of the best reusable pads and liners for travel, thanks to how fast they dry and how compact and lightweight they are.

The Stay Liner air dries in as little as 2 to 4 hours and The Wing in 2 to 24 hours depending on the local weather. That makes drying easy to time around your day, with far less chance of packing up a damp pad, which is the thing that trips people up most when traveling with reusables.
